God’s Word Made Simple was founded in 2019 as an online teaching ministry of Simple Servant Ministries, a 501c3 non-profit. While time, logistics, and a certain global event have changed what GWMS looks like today, the core values remain the same, to help people understand God’s Word, apply it to their life, and grow in their relationship with the Lord!
Check out first videos below to get an overview of this ministry’s founding vision. It is my hope that this ministry may provide valuable tools to those who don’t have access to solid Biblical teaching, aren’t sure where to start, or church leaders who just need additional resources.

4 Secrets to Understanding Life and the Bible!
This is an example of the type of videos that will be made to engage the “YouTube culture” and act as an entry point for new believers or those who may not quite be interested in more depth teaching (yet). By necessity, they will be shorter videos with catchy titles and in future videos will include additional graphics and features. These videos will feed into the more in-depth videos and be a great introduction to the ministry and subject matter.

How to Read and Understand Scripture
This is an example of intermediate-length video that gives a reasonable overview of a given subject. This style will likely be the “bread and butter” of the ministry’s main-stream videos on the academic side. Longer and more in-depth videos will be made, but will be broken up into the 101 / 201 style referenced in the intro video. Also as referenced in the intro video, there will be another series that focuses on the devotional side of spiritual development.

This video is a little longer and demonstrates applying the concepts presented in the previous videos, specifically applying the 4-step interpretive process, while walking-through a potentially confusing passage and learning how to apply it to everyday, modern life.
